FABTECH 2025 Recap
The 8th FABTECH is North America’s premier tradeshow for manufacturing, welding, metal forming, and fabricating technologies. It brings together engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers to explore innovations, share ideas, and collaborate on the future of manufacturing. SEYI is proud to have returned from FABTECH Chicago after an outstanding week at the show. Our North America team had the opportunity to showcase SEYI’s latest press technology while building meaningful connections with metal stampers and industry leaders from around the world.
SEYI-America’s Stand Out Exhibit
SEYI-America stood out as a leading supplier in Chicago. The large 20x50 booth was in the center of the metal stamping section of the show. The highlight of the display was the SDN1-121, SEYI’s new gap frame servo press. With servo technology as a focus, we demonstrated how the SDN1 Series provides customizable motion profiles for better manufacturing. Visitors to the SEYI booth could visualize how SDN1 Series press reduces cycle times and enhances part quality, providing stampers higher returns. Learn more about SEYI’s gap frame servo press.
Additionally, the booth featured a new part table which drew the attention of several attendees and opened the door for meaningful conversations with the team. The part table features real parts from our customers in the US that were made on various SEYI presses ranging from 88-tons to 1760-tons. This new addition allowed customers to visualize which parts can be made on a specific press.
As the industry leans toward intelligent manufacturing, SEYI is at the forefront of delivering solutions that align with these goals. Throughout FABTECH, discussions centered on a few notable trends:
- Value Pricing amid Tariffs: Many manufacturers were trying to find the best value in the midst of tariffs in the US. To offer competitive solutions, SEYI-America offered great discounts for those who visited the booth.
- Precision and Flexibility: More manufacturers are seeking customizable presses that can be adapted for various applications. SEYI’s servo technology allows for flexible motion profiles, giving users control over each step of the stamping process.
- Smart Manufacturing and Automation: Automation remains a core focus, and SEYI’s presses are designed to integrate our own SIMS+ package and other Industry 4.0 systems, paving the way for automated stamping lines.
