SEYI SE2 ECCENTRIC GEAR STAMPING PRESS GOES GOLD AT 2015 TAIWAN EXCELLENCE AWARDS
SEYI’s 2-point eccentric gear stamping press was one of only ten products to receive the Gold Award at the 2015 Taiwan Excellence Awards. Held each year since 1990, The Taiwan Excellence Awards brings together a panel of international judges to rank Taiwan-made products in their ability to demonstrate “Innovalues,” innovation + value added within four major categories – R&D, Design, Quality, Marketing, and…Made in Taiwan.

SEYI’s SE Series Eccentric Gear press was selected for the Gold Award among 1,155 product entries from 448 companies. The press was recognized for innovations in the design, including 8-surface eccentric gibs, achieving 20% energy savings in production, and achieving high-frame rigidity through efficient and economic design.
The award also set a milestone for the precision machining industry as SEYI became the only machinery equipment company to win the Gold in the last twenty years.
Receiving the Gold Award is a crowning achievement for SEYI. Over the past 20 years, SEYI has won 13 Taiwan Excellence Awards (Servo in 2011), and its SAG Series presses and SM1 Heavy Duty Link Motion Presses received Silver Awards in 2011 and 2014 respectively. To press forward and take top honors demonstrates SEYI’s culture of challenging conventional methods to achieving higher quality and less waste in keeping pace with market needs.
The Taiwan Excellence is an award that is delivered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to encourage Taiwan industries to upgrade and incorporate “innovalue” into their products, a combination of innovation and value-added. First established in 1990, the Taiwan Excellence award aims to strengthen global awareness of high-quality products that are 100% designed, developed and produced by Taiwanese manufacturers.
